Children
Children are a precious gift from God, and as adults, we have the awesome privilege of teaching them to know Jesus Christ and to grow in their relationship with Him. At Norcross First, we honor children’s natural sense of awe, wonder, imagination, and curiosity to help shape their growing faith. We engage in fun, age-appropriate experiences, and spiritual practices, while giving them a safe space to ask questions.
Children's Sunday Mornings
K-5th Grade
It’s our privilege to help children experience God’s love on their level. Nursery is available for children birth through 4-year-olds during Sunday School and Worship (9:30 am – 12 pm).
For children K – 5th grade, we offer Godly Play and Sunday school each Sunday. Godly Play time is from 9:30 – 10:00am. Sunday School is from 10:00 – 10:45am and includes age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Meet at 9:30am on the lower level Room 1/3 for recreation and fellowship and then go as a group to Room 221/223 on the 2nd floor of the Children’s Wing at 10am for their lesson. Parent pick up is in Room 221/223 at 10:45am. At this time all K-5th will be grouped together in one class.
Sunday Morning Worship
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Children are encouraged to attend worship with their families in either our Sanctuary or Chapel. (The Chapel service is in Spanish.) To help your child through the worship service, we have Worship Bags for preschoolers and children to use during the sermon portion of the service. Bag pick up and drop off details are below:
- There will be a rack on the left of the main entry doors to the Sanctuary or on the right of the main entry doors to the Chapel.
- You are welcome to pick up a bag each week for each child in your family and those visiting with you.
- These bags, and their contents, are intended to stay at the church.
- Please place them back on the rack outside the worship area after the service.
Wednesday Evenings -
Club 3:16
K-5th Grade
Children ages K-5th grade are invited to join us for Club 3:16. We meet in the Family Life Center on Wednesdays during the school year from 6 – 8pm to enjoy music, Bible messages, and games! Parent drop off and pick up is at the Family Life Center.
Children's Preschool - Norcross First Creation Kids Preschool
Our preschool is for children ages 1-year through Pre-K and is designed to provide young children with a loving, play-centered program where children learn through a variety of multi-sensory activities. Preschool begins in August and runs through May each year. There are 2-day, 3-day and 5-day options. Each day’s program is from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Children’s Special Events
There are several wonderful special events for children throughout the year. These events include, but are not limited to, Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, Family Friendly Advent Celebration and Christmas events, Spring/Easter Event.
